It’s wrong according to most people. However, since tattoos are made out of stories of your life, I think it’s ok as long as it’s something you do entirely for yourself and not out of ultimatum or the need for approval. Like with any tattoo, you have to be sure.

If the relationship ends, that’s ok. I suppose it’s not about the name but more about your history and how the person meant to you at the time. You can’t erase it; you accept, learn, and grow from it.

Or turn it into a nice butterfly if your ex was a total ass/whore.
