This is my first and only tattoo. I designed it myself and its pretty unique to me. It celebrates my mixed heritage (half Filipino / half Portuguese) and pays tribute to my upbringing in church. The center is the shield and armillary sphere found on the Portuguese flag. The sun on the outside of the center is the sun found on the Filipino flag but stretched out to look like a cross.

One of the most creative crosses + Filipino sun I’ve come across on the internet.
